Bread Rolls

Ingredients

  • Minced chicken 1 cup
  • Carrots chopped 2 tbsp
  • Cabbage chopped 2 tbsp
  • Chinese salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce as required
  • Salt as required
  • Corn flour as required
  • Bread as required
  • Cooking oil 2 tbsp

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry minced chicken, carrots and cabbage finely.
  • Add black pepper, salt and soya sauce and keep aside.
  • Soak bread slices in water for 5 minutes after cutting their edges if required.
  • Flat them and put chicken mixture over them.
  • Roll them and paste corn flour on their edges.
  • Deep fry and serve with ketchup.

Sunshine Chunky Pasta

Ingredients

  • Dried pasta twists 300gms
  • Unsmoked rasher leans 4
  • Baby carrots 200gms
  • Beans 200gms
  • Broccoli 200gms
  • Peas 200gms
  • Red pesto sauce 3 tbsp

Recipe:

  • Boil water in a pan and cook pasta for 15 minutes.
  • Grill rasher leans, steam baby carrots, beans, peas and broccoli in a steamer.
  • Drain pasta and add red pesto sauce in it and mix well.
  • Take a large plate and arrange steamed baby carrots round the plate.
  • Mix other ingredients in pasta and put in the centre of plate.
  • Kids will surely enjoy this pasta dish.

Fruit Fun Recipe

Ingredients

  • Apples 100gms
  • Guavas 75gms
  • Sweet lime 1
  • Cottage cheese 50gms
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt to pepper to taste

Recipe:

  • Clean and wash mint leaves.
  • Grind mint leaves with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  • Cut cheese in cubes.
  • Cut all fruits in cubes.
  • Mix all the fruits and ingredients.
  • Chill and serve.

Energy Shake

Ingredients

  • Milk ½ cup
  • Sugar ¼ cup
  • Banana 1
  • Strawberries 2-3
  • Cream 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence ¼ tbsp
  • Crushed ice as required

Recipe:

Put all the ingredients in juicer blender and blend for 2-3 minutes. Delicious energy shake is ready. This shake is very useful for kids and teenagers.

Butterfly Cakes

Ingredients

  • Eggs 3
  • Self raising flour 110gm
  • Baking powder ½ tsp
  • Butter 110gm
  • Sugar 110gm

For Icing

  • Icing sugar 170gm
  • Butter 85 gm
  • Vanilla extracts 3-4 drops
  • Milk 1 tbsp

Steps:

  • Put all the ingredients except icing ingredients in a bowl and mix finely.
  • Preheat oven to 70 C.
  • Put cake mixture in baking tray.
  • Put baking tray in the centre of the oven.
  • Bake at least for 30 minutes and don’t open the door of oven.
  • Cake will cooked when golden brown.
  • Cut the top part of cake with sharp knife.
  • Also cut cake slices into two as these will be used as butterfly later on.
  • Garnish Cake with icing ingredients and make butterflies with cake slices.
  • delicious and beautiful butterfly cake is ready for kids.

Chicken Noodles

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken ½ kg
  • Noodles 1 packet
  • Soya sauce 3 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Green chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Dry red chilies 2-3
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies 1 tbsp
  • Mixed shredded vegetables
  • Ajinomoto 1 pinch
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method:

Boil the chicken and cut into cubes for more taste. Heat oil in deep pan and add garlic, dry red chilies, shredded vegetables, soya sauce, salt, black pepper, green chili sauce and Ajinomoto and sauté for some minutes. Boil the noodles separately as per the instructions given on the packet. Strain the noodles and add them in mixed vegetables and chicken. Add green chilies and vinegar and cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Serve hot.

Seasoned French Fries

Ingredients:

  • Russets potatoes 6
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Garlic salt 1 teaspoon
  • Onion salt 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Water ½ cup
  • Vegetable oil for frying 1 cup

Directions:

Peel and cut the potatoes in strips and dip them in cold water so that they may not turn into brown before frying. Take a large bowl and put garlic salt, onion salt, paprika, salt and flour in it. Gradually stir that mixture in the water until it drizzled with spoon. Heat the oil in wok at medium-high heat. Put the potatoes in the ready mixture and fry them until golden and crispy. Take them out in a plane dish and put on paper. French fries are ready to serve with ketchup. Kids will definitely enjoy these French friezes.
