Lentil Soup

Ingredients

  • Lentils 2 cup
  • Water 7 cups
  • Chopped carrots 2
  • Medium onion 1
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Tomatoes 1 can
  • Turkey ham cubed 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

Steps:

  • Cook ham with onion, salt, bay leaf, carrots and tomatoes for 20 minutes.
  • Add lentils and continue cooking till lentils tender finely.
  • Serve hot with lemon sauce.

Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients:

  • Chicken stock 3 cup
  • Small chicken cubes 1 cup
  • Soya sauce 3 tbsp
  • Cabbage medium size
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Chicken cubes mixed plain flour 1 tbsp
  • White vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed black pepper half tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Bean sprouts 1 cup
  • Carrots 2
  • Sesame oil few drop
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Crushed white pepper half tsp

Preparation:

Put the chicken stock in a wok and add soya sauce, salt, black pepper, vinegar, white pepper and all vegetables and leave it cook on medium heat. Then add chicken cubes when it becomes boiled and cook it for 5 minutes. Then add corn flour and keep stirring with wooden spoon. When it becomes thick, add beaten egg in it and also add bean sprouts and onion leaves in the end. Serve it hot.

Chicken Corn Soup

Ingredients:

  • Boiled and shredded chicken 2 cup
  • Boiled and grinded corns 2 cup
  • Ajinomoto 1 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Pepper 2 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Corn flour in water 2 cup

Preparation:

Boil chicken and corns and add Ajinomoto, salt and pepper. Cook for 10-15 minutes and add corn flour mixed water in it. Cook it till thick and add eggs and continuously stirring. Chicken corn soup is ready to serve with hot sauce. Total serving of this recipe will 8-9 people. Its preparation time is 20 minutes.
